Titanic
3. Have you ever been skinny-dipping?
No, but I'd love to!
4. Which country would you say has the best fans?
Obviously the Irish fans at home are great. The English fans are fantastic
because we spend the most of our time there. Italian fans are mad! Swedish fans
are brilliant. Then we come to Australia, not expecting to have any fans, and
they're so warm and friendly. Every country has been brilliant to us.
5. Do you have any pets?
I used to have a dog, Ben, but he ran away.
6. What's your favourite time of the day?
Bedtime.
7. What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Cereal and a glass of apple juice, with maybe some scrambled eggs and toast ...
and tea, of course!
8. Coke or Pepsi?
Pepsi.
9. What's the weirdest thing you've ever received from a fan?
We've had bras thrown up on stage and we've been sent some pretty raunchy
letters - we're like, "I wonder if their mothers know they're writing that?"
10. Have you tasted Vegemite?
Is it that barf-looking thing? I haven't tried it yet. No way!
11. What's your middle name?
Well, Irish people have two but when I was christened I got another one, so I
have three - Bernard, James and Adam.
12. Who's better, Austin Powers or Dr Evil?
Austin Powers. He got Liz Hurley!
13. Ever done a bungy jump?
No, I'd love to do it for the adrenaline but I'd be afraid the rope would snap.
14. Can you name any of the characters on Buffy?
No, sorry, I don't watch it.
15. What was your first job?
I was a professional soccer player for two years. Have you heard of Harry Kewell
(the Australian soccer player)? We both joined the same club when we were 16. We
got to know each other really well as we lived in the same digs.

No.
17. Worst subject at school?
Maths.
18. What's your favourite flavour of ice-cream?
Haagen-Dazs Cookies & Cream. There's nothing like it to pig out on while
watching a movie.
19. What's your favourite Aussie expression?
I love the way you say "Hello". It's a very, very sexy accent. Ages ago, I
remember watching Neighbours with Charlene (Kylie Minogue's character) and she
used to say it all the time. Oh, I used to love Kylie Minogue, and when she
married Jason Donovan (on the show), I was in tears.
20. Are you a natural blonde?
Yeah. I do have bleach in my hair, but I'm the only natural blonde in the band
21. What's the first thing you think of when you hear the word "home"?
Sleep.
22. How many brothers and sisters do you have?
I have three brothers and three sisters. Their ages range from 5 to 29.
23. What's the best song to sing in the shower?
I don't usually sing in the shower.
24. Where's the best place to be at 9.30pm on a Friday night?
The pub.

The Backstreet Boys.

Nope.

German, Irish and English, but not fluently. (laughs)

31. What's the worst injury you've ever had?
I dislocated my finger when I was riding my bike.

Soccer or Basketball.

Everybody! I've got one of those mobile phones that can hold hundreds of

Boxer shorts.

I was both naughty and good, but I never got embarrassed when I was a kid.
Strangely, I get embarrassed more now than I did back then.

Brad Pitt.
39. Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
Yes, but not when I had my bike accident ... it was when I fell off a balcony
once.

Rapid.

I'm afraid of the band not working.

I tripped on stage and that was in front of hundreds of girls!

Losing a friend or getting hurt by a girl.

Mairead and Brenden.
45. How did you feel when you first saw yourself on TV?
Shocked, it was horrible. I didn't realise I was so ugly.

Anything. I eat everything ... chocolate, chips - even both at the same time!
47. What's the scariest thing about your job?
The pressure of singing live and keeping your voice intact. If my voice went
tomorrow, my career would be finished.
48. Do you think you look like Nick Carter?
No, I think my hairstyle is a bit like his used to be, but I don't think I look
like him. I've met him and I respect the Backstreet Boys a lot.

Probably snog every woman in the world!
52. How long does it take you to do your hair in the morning?
About half an hour.

"You dutz." If someone does something stupid, we say, "You dutz." It's a
Westlife thing, we made it up.

Why would I do that?

My mum. I call her every day.

I don't know. Picking my nose?

Sydney Harbour is beautiful.

Always black.

We have the same hairstylist and when Geri saw me on a music show she called me
saying, "You've got to cut your hair. It's too long." And I said, "Get lost. You
cut your hair!"

Four weeks ago.

Nicky is scared of lifts - I have no idea why. Bryan takes an hour to wash his
hair. Mark is always on the phone, to his mum, friends, family. Kian is always
wheeling and dealing and is very particular about his clothes. Shane has the
attention span of a fly, you just can't get his attention!
