KIAN EGAN
I remember the first time I walked on stage, I was four and recited a poem called Vespers, at the Silver Swan Hotel In Sligo. Who ever would have thought it would bring me to where I am today. I hold my parents Kevin and Patricia responsible, they put me into everything from music lessons to acting lessons and encourage me in everything I did. They bought me my first guitar and kept faith in my music and I will always be grateful for that, I love ya.
Thank you to my brothers Gavin, Tom and Colm and my sisters Vivienne, Fenella and Marielle for putting up with the noise from all the different instruments coming from my room every night. Graham Kieghron, thank you very much for being so understanding and remaining such a true friend. Paul Keavney, thanks for being there. I hope our friendship will remain the same. To all my nutter friends in Sligo for all the great nights out we have had and for putting up with us 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Louis Walsh and Ronan Keating, you taught me everything I know and believed in us from the start and made us what we are today. To the 'Prince Of Pop' Simon Cowell, the man who signed and helped our music sound so amazing, you're such a smash Simon. Shane, Nicky, Mark and Bryan, what can I say lads, we've done what we've always dreamt of and I couldn't have done that without you, I love you lads. To all the people in my hometown Sligo, thank you for all your love and support right from the start.
Finally, to you the person who is reading this I hope you enjoy the album, there's loads more to come. If I've forgotten you, have a look in the Westlife Thank You's, if you're not there I'll get ya next time.
Lots of love Kian
