Mum has new ' backing' band  11th October 2004
A Welsh mum-of-three is claiming to be Britain's biggest fan of boy band Westlife - after having their faces tattooed on her back.
Superfan Beth Evans, 32, endured an agonising 10 hours at a tattoo parlour having the pictures of the pop group etched on her back. Beth, from Pontardawe, Swansea, reckons she's the band's number one fan having singers Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan tattooed on her back. T

The tattoo stretches from her neck to the bottom of her spine - but there is no picture of singer Brian McFadden who left the group in March. Full-time mum Beth said: "I've always wanted a tattoo and I was looking at ones of tigers and animals for my back. But then a friend said to me: "You love Westlife so much you should have pictures of them done instead. I thought it was a brilliant idea".
