Howdy Folks, Kian here – ok so I have had a right rollocking from the Dames because I don’t contribute enough for their liking. Fussy old boots they are. Well truth is they never approach me to do anything because either I am on my mobile or practicing my scowling look but the lads have told me to pull my finger out so here goes. Well as Mark does the weekly stars and Nicky has done fashion for the year I thought I would give you girls an insight into what type of fella is suitable for you as a loved one and a friend. ARIES (i.e. Brian)
As a partner: He is pushy & believes in love at first sight, so you’ll be swept off your feet initially. Then its up to you to keep up the challenge, or he may feel he’s got you too easily. He got to Bex ha ha) Ram is a dominate creature who likes his independence and prefers you to have yours too. He’s loud (really?), dynamic & possesses a short fuse. Arguments don’t last, but you’ll have to give as good as you get. He’s a high-energy, demanding partner but you’ll never be bored by his spontaneous attitude. Put him down Hilda)
As a friend: Aries is constantly on the go. No evenings on the sofa or cozy fireside chats – he’ll be out on the town, checking out the hippest haunts. It’s hard to keep up, especially as he’s a last minute type & expects you to drop everything for him Hilda NO). Aries man will do whatever he can for you but he’s a problem solver, not an agony uncle (FFS that is Mark duh). He gets impatient so don’t faff about.
TAURUS (i.e. Me)
As a partner: He’s stubborn & set in his ways, but if you want loyalty & security this is the man for you. (I am not actually stubborn perhaps a little awkward) The Bull enters into relationships for the long haul. He’s a rock & will always support you. (what do ya mean bullshite! Feck off Filan) He has a strong physical nature & needs to be well looked after. He likes a peaceful life & to be part of it you need to make your pleasures simple & in the best possible taste. (yeah I want a peaceful life so no autographs please…)
As a friend: Taureans love the fine things in life, best places, beautiful objects and people (Sligo, my surfboard & Jodi). Socially he thrives on a familiar round of gatherings & events that bind him to the same people. He’s cautious & takes a long time to get to know you but once you’re part of his circle it’s for keeps. As a friend he’s patient & devoted, always there for you and always on time. (bet you all want me now)
GEMINI (i.e. Mark)
As a partner: Mr. Gemini is flirtatious & sociable so you mustn’t mind if your company is constantly diluted. He needs constant stimulation (poor Bex is knackered) & has a low boredom threshold, so you’ll have to keep him interested with a steady stream of opinions & ideas, places to go & people to see (other than Sligo). He can be somewhat commitment-phobic (understatement of 2005) & heavy emotions make him run a mile. As a partner he’s light (cough), interesting (when?) & amusing, if a little infuriating, child like & irresponsible (definitely). He will definitely keep you on your toes.
As a friend: He likes to be everywhere at once & will accept every invitation going. He is a great communicator & can twist & turn into several different versions of himself. He can talk about anything but his feelings (how true). Gemini is in constant motion, you cant pin him down, but you can be sure if he’s your friend you’ll get to experience some interesting times. CANCER (i.e. Shane)
As a partner: The crab can be a tough shell to crack but underneath he’s tender & mushy. He’s heavily into the personal side of life, home & family & is well in touch with his feminine side (poofy Filan) This means you can freely talk about your feelings but you must also respect his & the moods that go with them. He has a mother complex – and you might become one to him but his sensitivity, caring nature & soft heart make him a loving & understanding partner (makes him sound a right mummy boy – oh he is)
As a friend: He loves walking down memory lane. He’s wonderfully caring & you can open up to him about anything (unless you want to go solo). The crab needs to be needed so make sure he feels included in your life. You’ll become like family to him & he might become part of the furniture to you (he wont climb on ya furniture Hilda so behave!!) With Cancer you can really be yourself & totally relax in his company.
