Irish boyband Westlife are allowing fans to play a part in their latest music video. Visitors to the group's website can "star" in a custom version of the video simply by submitting their name. The name is then integrated into several scenes, appearing on a wedding invitation and a text message sent by a member of the group. The interactive video, which is for the band's twentieth single, The Rose, was created by British firm 20:20 London. They have used the technology before to put user's names in online adverts for films and video games, but this is the first time it has been used in a music video.
