Buying Kian? A middle-aged millionaire, known as "Sir Jack" has offered the Kian enormous wealth for a simple ceremony. He has offered $75 million, five luxury cars and two mansions to Kian, if he will agree to marry him. Unfortunately Kian doesn't seem too keen. He says, "I'm not going to accept this offer. Besides I'm well on my way to earning that much myself anyway!" 27/4/03

On a visit to posh Dublin store Brown Thomas, the `life went on a mega spending spree. Shane spent more than £20,000 on Gucci goods for his girlie, Gillian; Bryan brought more than £5000 of baby clothes for Molly, and Kian blew £20,000-plus on togs-plus £10,000 on shoes! And Mark wouldn't even say how much he spent!   3/5/02

Who’s the richest Westlife bloke?
If we had to make an educated guess, we’d put our money on the ruthlessly business-minded Kian.
"Nobody’s going to rip us off - I’ll see to that. I have meetings with our accountant and lawyer once a month. I look at everything and account for every penny we make. We aren’t just puppets!" Crikey! Apparently, Kian was so certain he’d be rich ‘n’ famous one day, he scribbled himself a manifesto when he was 12.

"It says, ‘I’m going to be a millionaire by the time I’m 21. - Kian Egan’. My parents still have the note!" crows the loaded lad, who bagged his first million at 20. Sadly, this ‘Lifer is in danger of turning into a miser. He takes his dates out for pizza and "when we go to the cinema, I make them pay!" Yikes!

Do you worry about your bank account dipping under the million mark?
Kian: Once it reaches the million mark I'll worry about it going under! We have our pay cheques and we've made a lot, an awful lot of money - more than most of us could ever dream of. Which is very nice, don't get me wrong. But I don't look at it and worry about it - I invest it. I'm buying houses and stuff. I don't tell anyone how much I earn. Who's the stingiest member of the group?
All: Kian!
Kian: (Not looking happy) I don't get that. I'm just careful with my money. Mark doesn't spend much more than I do.
Shane: Actually, I think Mark could be the stingiest - he's more likely to keep his head down and his wallet in his pocket.
Nicky: One we were in a restaurant with some friends and we got the biggest bill ever, so we put our credit cards in a pile to pull one out to see who'd pay. We were all hoping it would be Kian's - and it was!
Kian: (Looking put out) I felt we were doing it to impress certain people at the table. Shane paid the last time we did that. But he felt it was unfair, so everyone else gave their share. "  12/03

Is he free with money or a bit of a meanie?
Mark: "He minds his money-he makes sure he's got enough to get by. But he's generous as well."
Nicky: "He's financially careful, but he does end up spending all his money on phone bills!"

Mark: Kian is the biggest shopper in the band. He'll pay pounds 2,000 for a pair of trousers. I could never do that. He went mad in Beverly Hills recently and came back to the hotel with loads of shopping bags. He bought three or four jackets costing pounds 1,000 each.

How much would you say that Westlife are worth?
Ha! Ha! Enough!

What do you spend your money one?
Kian : I spend quite a lot of money on properties. I love renovating houses and interior- decorate them. Then I rent them out. At the moment I have six houses. Interior decoration is probably my biggest interest!
