LIVERPOOL REPORT
Roving Reporter- BEX
9th June
Dame Hilda phoned me to tell me that she had 2 tickets for Cardiff & that myself and Dame Evadne could willingly have them. On the day I started work extra early to make sure we got there on time. Dame Evadne made her trek over to mine & after a quick change we set off.
The journey was ok apart from a strange man in a car who whipped his top off and kept driving alongside us – wouldn’t have been so bad but he was dead ugly!! Arrived early & am happy to report that I drove straight there with no mistakes which was a first for me.
Made our way to the bar opposite the arena & sat & waited for Marc & Emma. Whilst waiting we got chatting to quite a few Westlife fans who were great fun. Finally Marc & Emma got there & for those of you who do not know who they are Marc is the biggest laugh going & Emma is the prettiest little thing I have seen.
After catching up we made our way over to the venue – or the sauna as I now call it. It was so hot in there and the rows are so close together you really feel crammed in and uncomfortable.
Any way lights down & the lads appeared – they were fantastic as usual but unfortunately due to the girls in front insisting on holding their arms in the air for the whole set & my batteries going dead on my camera my pictures are crap. I do however, have video footage of that’s the way I like it and the more I see them perform this song – the more those words ring true lol.
Being as we had a long drive ahead of us the next day we decided to leave whilst the lads were on the walkway. Heading towards the back of the arena I caught Marks eye & so I dropped my bottom lip & did a tiny wave & to my amusement he did it back – so Mr. Feehily please don’t be upset I left early but I wanted to avoid the traffic and Kian saying “Westlife are unbreakable” for the millionth time, lol. Talking of Kian something was going on between him & Evadne about a watch & time so I grabbed her we both waved to Shane & then we left.
After a mad drive home we made it back to my local put to join my very drunken hubby for a nightcap and curry, then we retired to bed.
