GLASGOW REPORT

Okies, now my feet are firmly back on the ground I will concentrate on my report.
Got up and packed - (hubby dragged me kicking & screaming to pub night before so didn't get time) and left for the airport. Finally arrived after speeding at over 100mph and being clocked by at least 3 speed camera's (hubby reminded me car is in my name so guess who may lose her licence).
Raced to check in only to be told check in was closed but they agreed to let me through (phew), then as I had held the plane up I then had a half hour wait in departures. (Funny but the way they went on you would have thought plane was half way down run way). Any way finally boarded and guess who had a big blonde moment - little moi sat in the wrong seat but hey whatever.
Arrived safely in Glasgow and didn't get to use sick bag on plane (for those of you who dont know I am petrified of flying or even standing on the first rung of a ladder). Arrived in Glasgow, finally found April but that is another story, lol.
We hailed a cab to take us to our hotel which all I can say is omg!! It was huge and very upmarket and posh and I looked right at home in my jeans and trainers. The reason for me booking this hotel is because several sources told me it was where Westlife were staying and as I soon found out to my cost it wasn't.
Any way spent a splendid day and night there & bar staff were very friendly young lads - so not a total waste of time, lol. April, all I can say at this point is the swan!!!! (sorry private joke folks)
Next day headed to Perth, played Westlife game on playstation and guess who won - yep see I do remember details sometimes. Any way we drunk loads of voddie & coke - did ya know Scottish gals drink it in pint form.
Headed back to Glasgow the next day and booked into our second hotel and no it wasnt their hotel either cause couldn't afford to pay for a night where they were - not without being divorced by my loving hubby anyway. Got a cab to where they were staying at the dinner time only to be told that Mark, Kian & Shane had gone home to Sligo. Yes I had missed him again - (so Mark if ya are reading this give me a call cause now beginning to get depressed at not seeing you) but we were told that Nicky was in the hotel.
Any way it was a great afternoon spent chatting with Dave (get that camera outta my face) and Tony and some girls who were outside (Kirsty you are on my video hun). Then finally Nicky came out and was well drop dead gorgeous as usual. Although he was in a hurry he still stopped to sign a couple of things and it was nice to see Gina too.
Then headed to the SECC to watch them arrive off the bus and yes I missed them again!!!! Went back to hotel to get ready for concert and in my wisdom decided that later I would leave early to go back to their hotel so I could see Mark.
Got into SECC and our seats were well good so I was totally impressed. The crowd was very noisy and before I knew it they were there on the screen in front. For those of you that have seen the show the cartoon had me screaming rather loudly and I had actually forgotten to turn my camera off so Mark's name appears with one hell of a shout beside it, lol. (April loves that bit).
Any way the show started, I screamed, danced, waved, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience but then I left the mass crowd to make my way to their hotel. Arrived before the lads and anyone stood there will tell ya just how wet we were all getting. Had a quick conversation with Jake (tour manager) and then the bus came.
So where is the pic of Mark I hear ya all ask, well my camera decided to pack in right at the moment that he got to me - so yes I feel exceptionally sick, did manage a quick word but believe me it was so quick it was untrue. Any way went back to hotel and lay awake all night fed up, next morning poor April must have thought what a miserable moody so and so I really was but couldn't help but be real disappointed.
Headed back to airport and climbed aboard the plane to come home and believe me as much as I think Mark Feehily is wonderful - I will NEVER NEVER EVER get on a plane to see the lads again cause it was worse than being on a rollercoaster. Any way have forward all my pics to Hilda plus video clips I took of Dave, Nicky, Nicky again & concert so maybe you will all get to share them, lol.

P.S. Dave (Van Diesel) is a real nice bloke despite what people might say and
