WESTLIFE WINNER TELLS ALL
Wow, imagine having those gorgeous lads from Westlife in your home! Just
envision them wandering about your kitchen, performing or even just hanging out.
Crazy? Maybe so but that’s just what happened for our lucky winner Chloe. Here
she tells us all about her experience, how she felt in front of all those
camera's and what she really thought about Westlife:
How long have you been a fan of Westlife?
Chloe: For years and years. I've always had a thing for boy bands and Westlife
are just an amazing example of that. I went to see them play at the NEC when I
was about 15 and have followed them ever since. Now Mum's a fan and we follow
them together.
What was the highlight of the experience for you?
Chloe: Meeting Westlife! The gig was amazing, and seeing them wandering around
the farm where I've lived all my life -it was just incredible! Skittles was fun
too, having the chance to just hang out with the boys and chat to them like
mates, it was all so surreal!
What did your friends and family think when you told them you had
won?
Chloe: I was at work when I got the call to say I had won. Everyone at work went
nuts; they were standing on chairs and screaming! Mum is a huge fan too and was
just over the moon! Lots of my close friends are already Westlife fans and come
to all the gigs with me but I'm pretty certain I managed to convert my other
friends!
What were Westlife like?
Chloe: They were brilliant! Very lovely guys, down to earth and friendly. We got
on really well and they were such a good laugh, getting involved and happy to
have a go at some of the farm activities!
In what way was your day different from how you expected it to be?
Chloe: It was much better than I expected it to be. Westlife were filming with
us for 2 whole days so I got to spend some proper time with them, it was really
surreal! When they were performing I was in the front row and they were just
chatting to me in-between songs, it was incredible!
What was it like being filmed for a week?
Chloe: It was pretty scary. Danann was great and just put me at ease. When he
was interviewing me he told me "just chat to me, don't worry about the cameras".
On one occasion when I was being interviewed, Westlife were standing right
behind the camera looking at me. It was hard to concentrate that time! It was
also weird watching it on television, I watched it from behind a cushion and
cringed at myself.
How has the experience changed your life?
Chloe: I can honestly say it was the best experience of my life! It was such an
amazing week. Danann and the crew were brilliant too. I'd really like a career
in TV doing hair and make up and they gave me some brilliant contacts to get me
started. It was pretty cool seeing what goes on behind the scenes of a TV show
too. Other than that, I think I'm just a bigger Westlife fan now, something I
didn't think was possible before we started!
Would you do it again?
Chloe: Definitely! I would relive it again any day if I was given the chance.
It's something I never expected to happen to me. You enter the competition
thinking that you'll never be lucky enough to win and then the next thing,
Westlife are in my kitchen baking with my Mum! The lads were so cool, down to
earth and just amazing!

Amazing. Surreal. Hilarious. Fun. Phenomenal.
