Jake has worked in the industry for  over 30 years and was tour manager for Westlife from 2003 to 2005. He started his career as a roadie in the 1970's and worked his way up the ranks.

WESTLIFE have revealed how their work load almost caused them to split. The Irish pop band have had a dozen No.1 singles in the UK, and won the UK record of the year for Mandy. But they would have called it a day if not for Scots tour manager Jake Duncan. Mark Feehily said: ''We had to change how we worked or give up. Now Jake makes sure we have a day off every two or three weeks. It's more than we used to get.''

Jake Duncan is an SFA approved players' agent and also the managing director of ShowTime International Ltd, a career and live event management company specialising in the entertainment industry. He has worked with the world's top acts, including Westlife

"Now entering my fourth decade of involvement in the concert touring business, I would have to say there's not much that I haven't done. However - and this is no secret (even to the guys in Westlife) - in an ideal world I would have a full time involvement in the football division of my company, ShowTime International Ltd.  I have worked with some very talented and exciting artistes and, while I am still wholly committed to my present involvement with Westlife, I would welcome the opportunity to transpose my man-management skills and experience to the field of professional football."
