A favicon (short for favourite icon) is a small, 16x16 pixel image, that is shown inside the browser's location bar and bookmark menu. These icons will appear in 'Favourites' menu along with your site name. These are designed for Westlife mad web designers to pretty up their own pages on the net.. Hopefully Westloife has one loaded by now!

HOW TO INSTALL
After you've downloaded a favicon and unzipped, it's time to add it to your site.
1.Rename selected favicon to "favicon.ico"
2. Upload
the file "favicon.ico" to your site. Verify it's there by typing http://www.your
site url.com/favicon.ico in the browser's location.
3. I'd recommend inserting code into the <HEAD> section of your
site's main index page: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico"
type="image/x-icon">
4. All done! Note: Your favicon may not appear immediately
after you've completed the above steps. In fact, it may take a few days, and in
internet explorer, sometimes the favicon will disappear now and then due to IE
bugs or glitches.
